JavaScript Job: Applications Architect

IO Datasphere, Inc. has been providing project management, software development and IT staff augmentation services to our clients in the Midwest and throughout the U.S. since 1996. We are an approved vendor on contract to provide software development and IT staff augmentation services for the States of Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, Iowa, and Wisconsin. We also provide these services to businesses, as well as local and county governments, in the Midwest and nationwide.

Our client is looking for a Application Architect to provide leadership and direction to the Collaboration and Project Management and Infrastructure staff on the design of development of ITIL systems and solutions involving service management, change management, configuration management, and asset management.

The position will be a member of the application development team, troubleshooting issues as they arise to Ensure effective ITIL system solutions along with associated application technology. The individual will work closely with the functional user groups within DOC to ensure effectiveness of system solutions deployed.

Tasks

• Collaborating with senior managers to determine business-specific application needs.
• Compiling and implementing application development plans for new or existing applications.
• Demonstrating application prototypes and integrating user feedback.
• Writing scripts and code for applications, as well as installing and updating applications.
• Providing end-users with technical support.
• Running diagnostic tests and performing debugging procedures.
• Performing application integration, maintenance, upgrades, and migration.
• Documenting application development processes, procedures, and standards.
• Review detailed systems specifications to ensure the development and support of new systems and enhancement of existing systems and is consistent with agency development and support methodologies, standard and policies.

Location: Madison, WI (100% Remote within the State of WI)

Contract: 1 year

Skills Required:

• 2 years Experience as an application architect
• 2 years Proficiency in programming languages, such as SQL and JavaScript
• 2 years Experience in aligning application development with business needs
